Lots of pushing, not a lot of damage done. The Mummies regenerated everything thrown their way, and even that wasn't a lot. Despite a bazillion Guard dwarfs causing favorable blocks all over, not as much got knocked down as you might have expected.

My best chance to score came early on in the first half, with an open field in front of me and just one blitzer to clear out, my Blockless Frenzy mummy failed a block and rerolled another fail. The resulting hole in my defense opened a floodgate of little bearded folk that quickly ended my hopes for a quick lead.

The tourney had apparently been a lot kinder to Chainsaw than it had to me. His team was healthy and well over the 150TR we all started with, whereas mine came in missing a mummy. I needed to get a lot of help from the dice, and really, they tried their best to hand this one to me, but I just couldn't put it together.

It may have been 2-0, nearly 3-0 even, but I had to fight tooth and nail for everything in this game as I threw constant push/skull push/push or (when his players had block) push/both-down.

In the end, the huge difference in team strength was just not enough for Maysrill to overcome. As naff as my dice were, his fell just short of being nice, and that meant he couldn't overcome the imbalance in team skill.

Good company but frustrating game!
