“A hard won match.

I bought Ripper and hoped that Smashak would only buy the Count. But he wanted to bring Ramtut along, so Morg tagged along on my team then.

1half:
The strategy was simple. Foul, cas and advance on 2flanks to see where the Count would move to. The fouls and cas did not really generate me anything. Need some more hitting power on my team. As the count and ramtut moved to 1side, I moved the ball to the other side and made my way down there. Was forced to score a bit too soon for my liking.

On defend, I made a solid defence. A lot of skulls my way preventet me from blitzing his ballcarrier. But that is BB sometimes, sadly.

2half:
I still had my wizzard, so I just waited for the right chance to come. Smashak advanded forward and then a chance was there. The fire ball hit and the nessesary players went down for me to able to blitz his count and taking him down. But sadly he did not go down, lucky for me Smashak could not advance forward. Next turn Morg got a chance of taking him down and rolled the pow doing his job. The ball landed right next to Skeleboy (move7, ag4 blodge, sure hands). Instead of just throwing the ball down to his end zone, I had to GFI. I actually thought in my head "GFI or throw it". But I had to GFI. Curse you nuffle. I got the ball back and just tried to put every beastmen down into his zone as fast as i could. Skeleboy kept ramtut and his wolf busy around the ball and throwing it out or reach over to the other side was a crucial move to do. In the last turn Smashak misclicked a fail block and did not RR it. Maybe the adralin was running high or maybe not. But Danes of Nurgle got the TD.
So Danes of Nurgle is going on to the 2nd round. Hopefully the next match will be easy, but Nuffle is here. So :)
