“Well I got outdiced badly by a good opponent today. Firstly 2 from 3 nigglers failed to show up, and the Handicap was I Am the Greatest leaving me with 10 players to start.

On the opening drive, I misclick with my mouse and end up applying no defensive pressure so an easy score by my opponent.

On my drive, I am about to set up for a strong scoring position, but roll 1,3,1 on my attempt to pick up the ball and hand off to a player. Opponent makes dodge rolls etc to then pick up the ball with no problems and ends up scoring.

I use a RR to chain push a MA8 player for a OTS to get on the scoreboard. That was a bit of luck (3+ dodge x2 with Dodge RR plus 2 GFI without) but still I was behind as I did not have the chance to fight out a 1-1 or 2-2 half due to that crucial failure with the ball and turnover.

Second half, the ProElfsionals start off in offence, and try and draw out the half using Dump Off. Eventually however, we chose not to dump off (maybe we should have) and the ball was knocked free.

The Woodies had some luck when a player caught the bouncing ball after a Catcher jumped on the ball and failed the 4+.

The ProElfsionals knocked the ball free on a 2 dice blitz, but then failed a 3+ dodge to set up a position to score from.

Opponent then makes a string of 3+ and 4+ dodges to secure the ball and it is game over after that as he made the simple rolls to score the 3rd TD.

My opponent played well, but the dice were two onesided overall at critical times for me to have any chance to win this. I might have possibly gotten a draw if I had scored to take it to 2-2 instead of delaying, but I was up against a superior team due to 3 players being out before the game even started and it would take a lot of good luck (and I wasn't getting any today) for me to steal the ball off him and score from 2-2.

Well, we got some cash and no permanents which is all we set out to do so I guess the result is irrelevant.
