“Game 50 for our blackbox goblins and 106,000 screaming fans have turned up for the game!

We're up against wolfmoon's necros, who with two MNGs are close in TR/TS to us. We give up one handicap but as it's a virus vs no nigglers it's wasted. They have no tacklers and their MB wolf is MNG'd so it doesn't look as dangerous as it might have been... though as you'll see that did NOT stop the casualties!!

We kick and start up the chainsaw! But they pick up the deep kick with their werewolf and then manage to score with him on turn 4 when he gets the straight POW he needed on a 2d blitz to make it. Nobbla is also sent off --- booh!!!

We secure the ball and trundle forwards slowly, scoring on the final turn to make it 1-1, but not before suffering 2 BHs, a MNG and a death (apo saves).

The heat sees a troll refuse to come out for the 2nd half, leaving us with just 10 on the field vs 9 of them. We bash forwards well, fouling a zombie for a BH on turn 1 (regenned) and their lone wolf for a niggling on turn 2 at the cost of our DP (and all round super gobbo) being sent off. They are causing KOs and casualties galore however, and after 3 turns we're down to just 5 players on the pitch!

They briefly steal the ball with a zombie, then again just as it looks like we have a chance and they are out of rerolls they get the POW blitz they need to break free with the ball. We try our hardest to stop them scoring, sacrificing a goblin, but nothing works and they can't fail a series of dodges or pickups in tackle zones.. or even the last chance of 2 GFIs into the endzone to win it for the necros.
