“Tonight the Counts world famous Dead Boys, the OBBAs greatest sob story, took to the field to kick off their new season in the conference. With Stars like Jager leaving the team, in the middle of the night in somewhat suspicious circumstances, the Dead Boys were only able to field 11 players. Even more concerning for the Count was the total lack of AG3 positional available.

As the Dead Boys lined up and faced Coach Deathboy's Emirates Gunners. A Chaos team who had an equally difficult time trimming the roster back to fit in the Conference.

10 Chaos vs 11 Undead... the match was always going to be ruled by getting a CAS advantage as early as possible. So the Dead Boys went out and tried to take apart the tough Chaos mini-horde, with the Gunners on the offense in the 1st, the Dead Boys focused the attention on getting a couple of players out of action and forcing a score. Even Lucky McZom managed a dodge and double POW blitz on the ball carrying Chaos Warrior but unfortunately the Dead Boys didn't have enough to stop the score from the Gunners. They did however manage to get two KOs and two of the foul Chaos hurt badly and dropped into the dugout before the Gunners took the lead 1-0.

With the 1st half rapidly ticking away the Dead Boys went all out pushing everything forward to try and level the score before the half. Thanks to an unfortunate Beastman who seems to have mutated to have 2-left-feet failing a crucial dodge the Dead Boys romped home a TD at the whistle to make it 1-1.

Unfortunately for the Gunners the 2nd half was a crowd control exercise for the Dead Boys containing the remaining Chaos and picking the right moment to put the pig skin over the line to take the lead and the match 2-1.

Next up for the Dead Boys are some reasonably new Dark Elves in another undermanned game for both sides... 9 Elves vs 10 Undead... could be an interesting season for the Dead Boys who are off to a flying start!”
