The crowd got value for money, that's for sure. There were bucket loads of blood on the field today, and the sun was shining; couldn't have been better for the fans who bothered to come and watch.
The nasty Aussies got the ball first, and went on the killing mood on the word go (or should we say, on the whislte blow?). THey badly hurted one of the alligators on the front line, replay footage showing a glimpse of a dagger but impossible for the ref to spot it. This bloodbath went on, as both teams bassed the other.
The 2nd half saw more glory for the Devils as they not only made 1-1, but injured more players, leaving but 2 Aussies on the field on their last drive.
