“well... This was a VERY entertaining game. The opposing coach is much better than I am, play wise and rating wise. He had a very solid team from the looks of it coming in and HE offered me the match. I thought it was a poor match up and was certain I would lose in light of all the information. A mid-half TD by my fast goblin on a break away with a double gfi. He came back strong after the TD, causing a niggling injury on one of the Ogres with a dirty player foul, hate those guys. He also got the ball on the kickoff due to a poorly placed ball on my part :P and ran a chaos warrior all the way to the goal line..... I made a gambling blitz with a Ogre, no bonehead, two gfi's and a double pow to punch his lights out and any hope of a first half TD. The second half was a bloodbath. Both teams took MULTIPLE double skulls throughout the half and my team took three turns with TWO sets of double skulls... burning my Rerolls and killing any chance at a TD possiblity. Late in the 2nd half something juicy happened. I threw a block that resulted in a KILLED player on his team. This was no ordinary player, but a 4ST, block, horns, stripball beastman. Luck was in store for him as his apothocary rushed to his aid. Alas, he didn't make it, for when the apoth arrived on the field to work, the beastman had been splattered into peices. Last turn on my side and of the match, I rushed my gobo forward 7 spaces for the handoff and made it. I then ran over the nearest ogre to toss the gobo down range for a chance at the impossible TD.... IN THE SNOW! HE LANDS!! and luckily for the Rolling Thunder Crashes, the gobo was fitted with SPRINT and SURE FEET for the SURE WIN. He made it with no trouble and won the game.
