As the diminishing crowds started fade away, Black Ark just sat on the pitch, bewildered by what had just taken place.

"So the curse continues, it seems", he mused, philosophically.

The rest of the team said not a word. Even Blood, who had scored on his debut, sat stunned.

"Atleast you finally found your touch.", Black Ark commented to Hulk, to which he received a wink.

This was a real dicing affair. After SitA left his str4 blitzer over-exposed and got promptly fouled off, as he was easily his best offensive weapon, I had to sit through an explanation of how I had just made the game boring and uncompetitive, as SitA prefers competitive games?? I'm bewildered too ;)

Following this it was a complete and total nuffling. The usual I'm getting used to. An extraordinary number of successful -2d blocks. Just not getting any lucky atm, where as, especially in this case, my opponent rolls rediculous.

Maybe I should employ the Black Pearl to lift the curse.

Will most definitely take you up on the rematch offer SitA ;)

what i had a problem with wasn't the foul, so much as the stall that preceded it. the only reason mormeck was so exposed was because i was bored out of my skull watching you sit on the ball. at least when he was running around the game was interesting, and after he was gone i had little choice to withdraw and wait for you to give me an opening. which you duly did. i don't need to win games (look at my record for god's sake) but i do need them to be interesting.

as to the dice rolls, well chaos are always going to get a lot of -2d blocks against them until they all get block. plus you can't really belabour the idea of luck - you wouldn't have scored at all without resorting to a passing game ; )

good luck lifting your curse and i await the rematch!
