“In a holiday back to ranked for me we're in round 1 of a SMACK: it's my undead vs rangersofthenorth's dark elves. They are a little down on TR so we'll be giving up a handicap, but it's wasted (virus) giving us quite an advantage.

We kick in the pouring rain and soon remove one of our rookie ghouls with a both-down block that badly hurts himself! They push through in the rain, but burn up their rerolls early on before fumbling the touchdown pass. We're able to charge in and steal the ball, and then leg it downfield when they fail a GFI blitz. We score on turn 7, leaving a turn each of bashing without result before half time.

All 12 elves are ready for the 2nd half, but we start well with 2 KOs on turn 1. They manage a great 1d blitz to knock him over, but we're able to swarm in and take over, eventually scoring on turn 4 without much trouble. All 3/3 elves wake up from the KO box so it's 11 vs 11 again, but again we're able to keep them back and with rerolls used up they can't stop us getting at the ball and making it 3-0!
