Well it was a screw job by the dice as we lost the coin toss in OT yet again.

We started in defence and were screwed over and over again by snake-eyes, double skulls and a send off of our DP on our first foul. We had 24% luck late in the first half.

Meanwhile, my opponent got two one dice Pow KOs in the same turn, taking out my two best Blitzers.

My opponent leaves gaps, eg, allowing his DP to be chainpushed to a mass foul, and leaving his ball carrier short of the LOS but he never gets punished.

In fact, I had a 1 dice blitz with Frenzy on his ball carrier who was one short of the endzone on T5. I would have forced him to score giving me 3 turns to reply, or I could have surfed him/powed him. What do I get? A Skull, rerolled to Skull, and a self KO. Of course.

So we set up for a difficult 1 turn TD on the last turn of our drive. What do we get? Perfect Defence.

Second half, we have a little bit of luck as we finally make some rolls, and we got two lucky KOs, allowing us to stall out the half to score a late TD.

But we were screwed on the KO rolls as we rolled subpar whilst my opponent made all his apart from 1 on 1 occasion.

OT saw us start with 10 on 10 on defence. We overcommit on about turn and he is forced forward. We get a chance to hit his ball carrier with some dodges, the final one is a 3+ for 2 dice with Tackle on his ball carrier and we don't make it, and he escapes with a TD.

We fail our KO roll again to have 10 players on offence. We get Perfect Defence again. Of course. We get a RIP on one his Blitzers to ease up the pressure, but we roll a Double Skulls early so we can't risk throwing the ball.

We work our way down one wing, and on the turn 23, we roll a double skulls on a block, leaving us short on the Catch and GFI to score, and yep, we roll a 1.

Luckily the ball was surrounded by a few sidesteppers and the Riders failed a dodge trying to attack it and we finally made a 2+ and 2+ to get a score.

Coin toss was academic as I always lose those, F Cup I grand final, F Cup DivX grand final, F Cup IV (or was it III) grand final, another half dozen Smack and qualifier grand finals.

At least my team doesn't have to face 2 DP and 2 Mighty Blow Tackle plus 5 handicaps vs Trog :P

Well, it was not a fun game at all on this side of the internet, but it was fun for Kharnate.

There isn't much fun to be had rolling 1s and skulls all the time, and the opponent lucking you with one dice pows all day, and being rewarded when he allows his ball carrier to be Blitzed not once, but twice.

I have nothing against Kharnate, he seems to be a jolly fellow, but the teams and strategic choices in the game were irrelevant due to the dice.

I wish him good luck in the next round.
