“Til the Death won the coin toss but elected to kick in the pouring rain. The ball went out of bounds and it was a touchback. Richter was given the ball and he ran up to his front lines and caged up. Spartacus the rookie Wardancer made an early move and leapt into the cage. He was then beat up by the Orcestra of Destruction and badly hurt. Another Wood Elf dodged in and tried to take out the ball carrier and he was knocked out. Still, the cage rumbled on towards the end zone as the Elves looked on. Just when they thought the Elves had given up, a daring dodge into the cage pushed Richter into the end zone forcing the touchdown with a couple turns left in the first half.

Plenty of time for TtD to score. Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Woodie Thrower, launched a pass to a Catcher covered by an Orc Blitzer. The ball slipped out of the Catcher's hands and caught by the Orc covering him. There may have been pass interference involved but the Referee didn't see it. This ended the first half with the Orcs in the lead.

TtD received in the second half. They flooded the Orc back field with many receivers and there was no way the Orcs could cover them all. It did not matter as Hellscream failed a block (double double skulls) and went down early ending his team's turn. This left a relatively easy touchdown for the Wood Elves to tie the game.

OoD received and managed to get Richter in the cage. The Wishmaster thought his player was safe but Coach Kryten had other thoughts. John Henry dodged in and knocked the ball carrier down (pow/dodgepow my choice). The ball bounced into a tackle zone where a Wood Elf picked it up. He threw a pass to a Catcher by the end zone but it flew wide left. OoD tried to save the touchdown but Wolverine pushed the Orc away and easily scored to suddenly take control of the game.

OoD still had some time to respond and they went into their hurry up offense. When you need a touchdown you turn to your playmakers. Richter threw a short pass to the #1 Stunna, Gruntle. The Orc Team Captain caught the ball and he was off to the races. His Blockers covered him well and he reached the end zone with only a lone Wood Elf on his heels. He nimbly dodged away and scored to prevent his team from losing.
