“i apologized 2 turns before concession, promised to play faster next turns (not even 2mins of the 15 used up at that point and none thereafter).
concession came without further warning immediately after 2 bh's and 1 rip (apo was used, already), if that ain't the reason - i don't know what it is ;-)
...i'd have done the same though, i guess, but with a bit more balls to say the truth ;-)
good luck with the team, though :-)

if you took the first part as an insult, i'm sorry i didn't (and don't ;-) mean to insult anybody, but just tried to complete your pretty incomplete match-report :-)
i don't remember how long i took in those 2 turns after you asked me to speed up, but i did stay below 4mins - 'game would've been much less complex after that decisive turn, as well - no problem to stay below 90mins, really (w/o connection-problems i have rarely played longer matches at least within the last 200 games or so, here on fumbbl).
also, you should know, that conceeding because you "didn't have time" and were used to 45-60min matches is against the concession-rules - so i'm implying you actually had legal reasons to concede (as opposed to the reasons you're giving yourself ;-)
and yes, i do take a concession, cash and mvp and am happy about that, but mind you, i won't leave a blatantly one-sided match-report unbalanced without giving it my side of the story because of that :-)

/me considers starting a petition to take away the 'extra' 15 minutes for BlackBox matches.

Take a look at my match record. I've been hurt far worse and lost far worse. I don't mind taking a beating and losing. I DO mind it when my opponent takes so bloody long doing it.
Maybe that explanation makes you happier?
You did promise to play faster, and shaved about 20-30 seconds off each turn by my estimate. Was it that I needed to ask you about 8 more times to play faster "or I'll concede" in order to get your turns down to a reasonable time?
BTW..."not even 2 mins of the 15 used up at that point"? Those 15 mins are supposed to be for 'real life' emergencies that take you away from the computer, not to bore your opponent to death because you can't calculate 2 dice blocks. The 4 minutes that the LRB gives you takes into account having to roll dice, position passing/scatter templates, etc, in table top. With the client doing all that for you there is not much excuse for taking so long.
I guess I'm just bitter because I'm not feeling well and I decided to sign on for a fun game of Fumbbl, and slow coaching took all the fun out of the match for me.
And just FYI, I literally didn't have time. I'm used to matches taking 45-60 mins, this one had the potential to run to 2 hours, especially if the dice turned around second half. Fumbbl says set aside 90 minutes. I didn't see this match being over that fast even.
Nice to know there are still coaches on Fumbbl who won't just take a concession, the cash and the MVP and be happy about it, but have to insult the other coach in the match report. You'll notice I didn't say you were an idiot, just that the turns were taking too long and I didn't have time.
Re: EDIT 2: Concession was perfectly legal...why else would I have waited until I took 3 cas in one turn, taking me down to what, 4 players on the pitch...and therefore have "taken excessive casualties" and "a very distinct lack of players left to field." I wanted to concede turn 2-3, but knew I didn't have the 'proper Fumbbl criteria' met. Rules say you have to have reasonable in game reason...but not that it has to be your only reason, or even primary reason. Since the site criteria was met in game, and clearly visible in the replay, I felt no need to redundantly dwell on that in the match report, but rather just state my 'additional' reasoning.
Perhaps a little on the 'letter of the law' side to wait like that, but I don't concede very often (3 times in the several years I've been on Fumbbl) and like to have stated in the match report my actual reason.
