Wolfs in the Night won the coin toss but chose to kick. Orcestra of Destruction took advantage of the Necromantic team's generosity and proceeded to control the tempo of the game. The Star Werewolf, Dark Old Wolf, was seriously injured by Gromph on the second turn of the game making life difficult for Coach Haenschel. A Wight managed to knock the ball loose but there were no Necomantic players in the area to retrieve it. Gruntle recovered the ball and handed it off to Jevin and he ran in the touchdown just before the end of the first half.

WitN received in the second half and the ball was given to Dogwalker. The Ghoul ran up the left side of the field while most of the Orc players were occupied. OoD's Wizard was paying attention however and launched a series of lightning bolts into the body of Dogwalker stunning him. As a side effect the ball he was carrying was incinerated and a new one was placed by the Ref by the sidelines. Gromph recovered the new ball and ran towards the end zone. Jevin freed himself up and made it into the end zone for what would have been his second touchdown of the game. Unfortunately, his hands were still coated with Zombie drool and the ball slipped away ending the game.
