“A game of brutality and close calls. The Facebeatas started by receiving the ball, only to see their cage collapse in the flurry of poor blocks by the Black Orcs. The only comfort being the death of both Ghouls to Neckstrangla and Armconkera. A last minute touchdown by Blightmare took it to 1-0 at half time.

The second half then began with a blistering display by Shinthrasha, who seized on a mistake in the back field between both remaining Ghouls to snatch the ball and scamper through for a touchdown.

With it all level, the ballwas kicked wildly and ended up just near the Facebeatas line. However, another mistake on pick up allowed Gobbostompa to blitz his way onto the ball. In the melee that followed the ball somehow ended up in the possession of Black Orc 'alflingchewa. The pocket crumbling around him, he threw a desperation pass to the open Shinthrasha. The pass had the distance, but was dropped at the last minute by the otherwise excellent Blitzer.

However, Mine the Gore were unable to capitolise on the dropped catch and as they attempted to swarm backwards to get the ball, it handed the initative back to Shinthrasha, who scooped up the ball and spirited past the line with his last ounce of strength to end the game.

After the game it was announced that Eg Cowcrusha would be retiring due to injury and to launch a new range of snazzy Squig skin jackets.”
