#1 Kael Starelock – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#1 Kael Starelock – Smashed Knee (NI)
#13 Jhaxx – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#13 Jhaxx – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
Got my team torn up something fierce, with a GTR in the first half for both sides creating an absolute bloodbath on the pitch. With superior reserves and a couple regens, the undead came out far the better from it. I finished the first half with just a few players left on the pitch.

Second half the pace slowed a bit, but only for lack of GTR. The undead received a kick way in the back of their zone, and the dark elves threatened to take the ball away in the wet weather, but a scoop and pass in the rain between a pair of ghouls got the ball to safety, and the undead mauled the Cabal down to a single player before scoring.

Taking the ball tied 1-1 and with 3 more players back from KO (3/6), I tried a desperate push upfield with a blodger, but my screening player failed his (reroll-less) GFI and left my carrier exposed to a SB wight. Fortunately a combination of ball pressure and the rain kept the undead from rounding up the ball in time to score.

Rough game, but I hung in despite the beating to maintain the tie.

GG Slex.

#4 Gamble – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#4 Gamble – Smashed Knee (NI)
#11 Klim – Dead (RIP)
This was a fun game where both teams got the ref for the whole first half and engaged in a foul battle. Darkies received and decided to score fast in the pouring rain fouling a few undead players away from the field (including my sure hands tackle ghoul). We went for a decent retaliation TD attempt in the remaining turns, but some lucky dodges and GFIs powed our ball carrier and the half ended 0-1. Sure thing we fouled further to enable player advantage for the sencond half.

Second half started with only a few darkies fielding and we were able to quickly proceed for a TD hoping for good KO rolls. Well, the rain continued and while we had no big problems stripping the ball away from the attacking elvish forces, some crucial pass and pick up rolls failed and the game was due to end in a draw.

Looking at the cas count afterwards, I think I might have continued fouling the elves, but as an elf couch myself I decided to let their team live ,)

Thanks for the game, and hope to meet your darkies again soon!
