Atlatl 1-2 New Elfean

Atlatl hosted New Elfean for their 2nd NFC South divisional rivalry. Atlatl showed with only 8 lizards dressed while the Saints were only able to field 11.

Atlatl recieved and went on the offensive, quickly KO'ing Kill Smith the 3rd, who would smartly avoid the pitch for the rest of the match having his predecessor Kills Smith the 1st killed by Atlatl. After a few quick plays back and forth the ref caught J'stin P'ele droppin a late talon and requested him to leave the pitch. This untimely departure left Bri'in who was carring the ball open. The Saints obliged and blited the ball free only to have Chuv'it the Falchions kroxigor pick it up the next turn. Dauntless strip ball expert Marques Colstun blitzed in and relieved the Falchions of the ball and claimed it for himself.
After a general scrum around midfield Every-Day Henderson was able to finally claim the ball and run it in for a T6 TD. In the waning seconds of the 1st half St'pen Nic'las laid a brutal hit on Colstun mangling him beyond the repair of the Saints drunken Apothecary. Funeral services are expected to be early next week.

Atlatl 0 - 1 New Elfean at the half

The Saints were recieving the ball bu had their numbers advantage culled significantly to 8v7 to start the 2nd half. A blitz to start the half and Atlatl was putting pressure on the ball at kickoff even with their 7 bodies. But the Saints are just too good an offensive team and were able to easily secure the ball and advance it out of Atlatls reach. 2-0 Saints. An unfortunate kick dropped the ball onto the back of Atlatl's kroxigore where it got stuck in his spikes. Having put New Elfeans Saints only dauntless player out of action it was just a matter of could the Saints stall the offensive drive long enough to ensure the 2-1 win. Atlatl pushed the pace and was able to have the TD by the end of the 3rd quarter. 2-1 Saints. The Saints recieved the ball and advanced a few elves to threaten a TD while dropping back into an offensive stall by their own goalline. During the stall Charles "General" Grant was slain. Funeral services will be held along with Kill Smith III's, there wasn't enough body left to recover to bury, so a memorial service to follow. Atlatl was able to apply pressure to the ball by the middle of the 4th quarter. With the ball advanced to midfield by T16, New Elfean looked to have the game salted away. Atlatl knowing that improbable doesn't mean impossible put a Saur into the endzone, blitzed the ball carrier, dropped the ball in range of Bri'in who was able to dart over, dodge in, pick up the ball, and dodge away. With just a short pass and catch away from tieing the game up the falchions fumbled the ball on the 15 yard line.

Atlatl 1 - 2 New Elfean

Atlatl starts the season at 0-1-1 and looks to improve their performance in the AFC conference games.
New Elfean starts the season at 1-0-0 and travels to Carolina in hopes of proving their dominance of the South.

Excellent match ex-con. I hate apoth fails more than anything else in the game. Congratulations on the win, gl in the league, I'll catch you again in the conference games.
