If I could sum up this match in a single word it would have to be "disgusting".

Why I can't ever make it past 3 rounds in a tournament without getting dice raped is beyond my understanding. This was was just ridiculous, not in that it was a totally one sided affair, but that both of the opponents TD's came from nowhere and was really just desperate attempts destined to fail.

I have partly myself to blame, at least for the first one. Instead of simply guarding the ball in the last turn of the first half I tried to pick it up with my AG 3. It failed and despite having the ball surrounded on what looked like all sides it managed to scatter into the only square where it was left unguarded. Then comes Fem Spiritpacer the god damned match hero and makes an AG 2 dodge, a pick-up and 3*sprint for an equaliser. And wouldn't you know, he does a repeat performance in the 2nd half.

Apart from that Crimsonwolf got the ref during the whole first half, got fed extra re-rolls on the kick-offs which he surely needed. It wasn't all gravy road for him, but it was enough luck to save what would otherwise have been a loss for him.

For me, I'm left cursing the fact that this game has such amazing potential of being a skill based strategy game but instead way too often ends up being a luck based entertainment game. I really should just accept the fact that this game isn't very much about skills so I could save myself from all this frustration.

I wish you the best of luck in the next round, Crimsonwolf. Chances are high that you are going up against one of the biggest douches of the OCC and his favorite team where he fouls every turn even if it makes him lost the match. If you get the ref there too, don't feel any form of sympathy for that guy.”
