This meant this might be a pyrrhic victory with 2 of my Chaos Warriors missing next game.
The first half started abysmally but in the end I could score nonetheless.
By then I had those 2 CW MNG already, add a KO beast and I had to set up with 10.
Not good.
Then the Chaos Gods smiled and it started to rain.
I rejoiced and Nuffle wanted me to despair so his blitz meant a BH.
9 left.
He picked up the ball.
I took a bit of a risk by blitzing with the Minotaur and while it produced not enough results in itself I had pressure on the ball.
Then he blitzed with his one mummy without block.
skull/skullpow twice (with RR)
That proved to be game decisive.
Tough match with an even tougher one ahead of me.
edit; 'shafted' in the sense that they were 2 key players; both a CW. And twice a CW having 2 skills to boot! My next opponent will cackle with glee upon seeing this I bet you!
“An excellent chance to take the match to OT was missed when I took a chance and 2d blocked with my mummy. Of course Nuffle punished it right away despite a re-roll and I threw away yet another match on one of those poor decisions that wouldn't really have been considered a bad decision if it had succeeded.
Jinxed walks off with something of a pyrrhic victory, but it's still a victory and that must taste sweeter than seeing yet another missed crucial roll cause you a loss.
Thanks for the match and good luck in round two!
Edit: No offense intended, but is 1/3/0 really being shafted compared to 1/2/0? I just don't see it.”
