Like Madtias said that was an epic game and very funny. Very well played by Madtias, but Morleys and a iron witch (without iron man) made me win.

#3 Ricotta Raider – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#3 Ricotta Raider – Smashed Knee (NI)
Warpstone Open Qualifier round 2.

The Ninjas lose this epic match to well played DE. One of the best games I've played in terms of coaching, lasting two and a half hours including OT. Simply epic and I hope it was a good game to spec despite the long playing time.

The Ninjas brought Hedasplitter and the Revengers brought a wizard. Handicaps were Illegal Drugs (making a ST4 tackler) and Morley's on three players, keeping the RO and (more importantly) the tackle-MB SV out of play for most of the match.

First half was almost perfect for the Ninjas. The Revengers received, but faced a blitz!!! and were down 1-0 in T2. Their next drive resulted in 1-1, but the Ninjas forced the score in T6, leaving two turns to make it 2-1 by half-time. So far so good.

The Ninjas made it 3-1 with a two-turn score to start the second half, and the Revengers responded with a two-turn TD of their own for 3-2. On the next drive, the Ninjas were one hand-off to GR away from securing the win with 4-2, but snaked it, allowing the Revengers to steal the ball. The Ninjas knocked it free again but failed to recover, and the Revengers made it 3-3 with two turns to go.

The Ninjas made an imperfect breakthrough on the last drive and the Revengers set up a good defense with lots of sidesteppers. In the end the Ninjas went for a short pass over a marked elf, but he intercepted the ball! He also had a chance to pass the ball to a waiting Revengers receiver to win the game, but failed the dodge away from DT.

The Ninjas got to receive in OT and went for an 8-turn stall. It didn't work out however, as the Revengers got more and more Skaven off the field. In the end the Ninjas made a desperate play to Headsplitter to protect the ball and still have a chance at scoring. It didn't work out, and in T7 the Revengers got Headsplitter down and secured the ball for 3-4.

GG rafadavila, well played, gl in the tourney and see you around. 1st half everything went my way but you worked your way back into the game and in OT most everything went your way. Great game with tension all along.
