“MIB continued the infiltration on the Chaos Dwarves HQ (Crown of Sand) where their arch enemy Wotfudboy awaited.
MIB attacked first, quickly breaking down the Chaos Dwarf flanks. The Chaos Dwarves moved to close the gap, but a rookie agent failed in the simple task of clearing the way and the attack broke down. The Chaos Dwarves swarmed the agents, clearing many from the field. An air strike (wizard) brought some assistance to the agents, but not enough, as the Chaos Dwarves scored for 0-1. MIB put their emergency plan into action with time running out and scored, for 1-1 at the break!
After the break the Chaos Dwarves attacked again. The agents tried to infiltrate their lines, but each time failed at crucial moments. With agent after agent being carried off the pitch things were looking grim. A chance for victory did present itself to the 5 remaining agents, but it failed just like the previous attempts, as the Chaos Dwarves went on to take victory 1-2.
The mission debrief might have been about a failed mission, but in truth the agents lack of training (30 TS difference) was hardly noticable on the day. Perhaps the next time such a mission came around, they would be better prepared!”
