“A very rough first half made this a closer game than I would have liked.
PhoenixxX's second block results in a BH, and that pretty much set the tone of the first half. My blocks were very ineffective in the beginning, resulting almost exclusively in pushes. A DP foul quickly knocks another of my players into the BH box, and all of a sudden I'm down two blitzers. With my inability to knock down any of his players, he squeezes into the endzone.
The second half is a standard orc grinder down the field, but the block dice are pretty favorable to him (including an apothocaried RIP on a BO), complicating my scoring efforts. However, the tide turns fairly decisively when, dodging to secure more supports for his foul, one of PheonixxX's DP hobos SI's himself. The very next turn, I send his other two DP hobos to the injury box, and all of a sudden my position looks much better. A few turns later I manage an easy score.
By all appearances OT should be pretty easy for me. But he gets a blitz KO result, which gives him a good chance at scoring. Freeing the ball from the pack with two dodges into tackle zones, pick up in a tackle zone, and an empty dodge, Nuffle abandons PheonixxX during his GFIT attempt. This gives me the opportunity I need to secure the ball, and from then on it's never really a contest.
Hats off to PhoenixxX who almost secured a win down a bunch of TR, and best of luck for the Psychedelia in the future.”
