Gunrunners faces off against the Broncos coached by the King himself.

The Broncos faced an uphill battle with only one guard against 4 on the Runners side. So they went for some professional help in hiring Zug the Brute.

Tommy kicks off for the Runners sending the ball just past the line as The king has left John Elway and Gary Kubiak deep.

Gary closes in on the ball and John tries to go the extra mile but trips on his shoe laces and hits his head on a rock on the field. Coach pulls him to the dug out as his lights are knocked out.

The Runners start to pressure the ball KO'ing Gary Z and getting some TZ's near the ball.

Turn 2 The Broncos with a chance to get the ball free, Gary Kubiak Tries to pickup the ball, but didnt realize the ball was covered in grease and dropped it.

Runners now had a clear shot at the ball and took it. Covering most of the opposition Jimmy Snatch sprung free and Kenny Uzi went for the ball but alas he hasnt trained his arm for passes and fumbles.

The Veteran blitzer Bill Romonowski saw his chance to get close to the ball. He too had forgotten his shoe laces and fell face first on the field.

After some more scrambling and more untied shoe laces and failed passes the Runners finally goes in for the score by Kenny Uzi.

With 2 guys in the KO box its an uphill battle for the Broncos. You can be certain the King has tied all of their shoelaces him self for the next drive.

2 guys has sprung free but the Runners are able to put a safety on each of them. And here comes the money shot. Elway dodges away from a tackle and goes for the quick pass to Rod Smith, who is covered by Jimmy Snatch.

Well he has earned his name and stribes today. Jimmy jumps up and intercepts the ball right in front of Rod.

Jimmy rushes forward and dumps the ball of to Jack Hammer who has a clear shot at the back field. Not able to put a safety on Jack, he goes for the score.

2-0 for the Runners at half time.

Second half is starting with the Runners receiving the kick.

After all players are in position the rookie thrower Jimmy the Colt goes for the ball. He was picked up by the Runners because of his fast and strong arm. Or so they thought. He fumbles the ball and giving the chance for the Broncos to apply pressure.
After some scrambling Henry " the dwarf killer" loggins hits Gary Kubiak so hard he is out for the rest of the game. Was a clean hit so no flags on the field. The rookie Jimmy C has been stuck in the backfield and wants some action. He goes forward only to find Zug tripping him when he goes by and he falls down and breaks his neck!!! Doctor man wasnt looking and was too late to save him.
The Runners have now lost their second thrower without the doctors help.
Neil the Nailgun goes for the score to make it 3-0 Runners up.

Oh BTW, Hal the cannon also tried to escape Zug and was also tripped. He was jsut out for the game. I think Zug had the big boots on as it seemed everyone was doomed to fall over if running by him.

The Broncos now have one turn to score. Its possible but risky. No rerolls but still Rod Smith to save the day. But alas the gods didnt want it to be.

3-0 for the Runners who have taken a step closer to the title.
