Wheel of Chaos - round 1.

Nightmare first round opponent - a team with TWELVE healthy ogres and one gobbo. This is going to be painful no matter what happens. We have packed a wizard to try and ensure victory and get two handicaps that will not help much- extra training and I am the greatest (hilariously targeting the gobbo, who never gets fielded regardless).

Of note: they have one +STR ogre and two +AGI ones for ball handling.

We kick and the ball helpfully lands right by their endzone, and on T3 we're able to take advantage of some poor pickup attempts to rush in, steal it and take the early lead.

We kick again and rush players past boneheads to hassle the ball carrier, though they recover this time, with an AGI2 ogre catching the bounce. We unleash our wizard but triple 1 means none of the ogres are affected! We want our 50k back!!!

The ogres have cleared away most of the players at the halfway line but can't get the ball forwards and we blitz over their player with the ball, scoop it up and run for their endzone... but double 1s on the 2nd GFI sees the beastman KO'd! T8 and we run our AGI4 beasty into the endzone and grab the ball with our AGI4 for a quick pass... but roll double 1s on the catch!!

And to make things worse 3/4 of our KOs fail to wake up so we can only field 9 vs their 11 ogres as they kick off. Then they get a pitch invasion that stuns 4 of ours (including both agi4 at the back) and none of theirs, and they follow up with a first turn BH on one of our CWs, and we then fail the pickup while they MNG our DP.

Finally we get the ball but we are totally outnumbered, near our own endzone, and facing a HORDE of ogres in our half, and it's all we can do to keep -2d blitzing where we can, picking up the ball again and again to confound them. The crowd throw the ball ever so helpfully diagonally towards our endzone at one point, but good rolls keeps us in the game and we can run the ball into their half. They crowdpush our beastman with the ball on T8, but fail at their very unlikely TD attempt that same turn and the half ends.
