“OBBA League Cup Semi-Final.

Fulham faced Milan in the Semi-Final of the OBBA Cup for the right to face Mooncalfville 86ers (who were already through) in the final.

Fulham were relieved to see no Wizard was present as Milan kicked off. A perfect defence gave Fulham some hope, but the ball bounced out for a touchback, putting Milan in control. A Milan player broke through, but was quickly tackled, although after some Fulham player errors, Milan were able to recover the ball and score, for 0-1.

Fulham built their own attack with the little time that was left and tried to pass to Duff who was in range of the end zone. Milan however pulled off a great defensive move with a dodge, pickup in zone, and punt (all without reroll) to deny Fulham a chance, as the half ended.

The second half saw Fulham build another slow attack, but whilst the first half saw problems for the Fulham side, the second saw the same and more for Milan. Fulham scored to make it 1-1, but by that time Milan had lost 5 players, 4 through injury and one from a red card.

With no clear winner after 2 halves the game moved into extra time, with Fulham receiving. Surprisingly as Fulham attacked Milan did little to stop them, instead moving out of the way, whilst watching the clock tick down. No doubt the numbers were against them, but it was a disappointing finish to a tough game seeing them just give up.

With Fulham having taken a 2-1 victory their focus is now firmly set on the Final again Mooncalfville 86ers, who rumour has it have been whisked away by their coach for a week at a secret training camp.
