“OBBA League Cup Final

Fulham faced Mooncalfville in the final of the OBBA League Cup and, although favourites on paper, were careful not to underestimate their opponents.

Mooncalfville started the game, but Fulham started to press quickly (Blitz), with the game quickly decending into a midfield battle. Eventually most of the game was being played in the Fulham half who had to be careful not to allow any gaps, especially with a wizard lurking, but they were thankful to hear the half time whistle with the score still 0-0.

The second half saw Fulham start to build an attack, although the wizard was quick to break their lines. Eventually the ball was recovered and Fulham returned to their steady build up play, with Mooncalfville struggling to hold them back, despite making every attempt. With Fulham scoring at the end of the half there was little time for a reply, so the game finished 1-0, with Fulham completing the non-league double.
