“We're up against DaDon's 10 dark elves with our 8 ogres + 3 gobbos, no subs for either team. Fortunately they only have 2 blodgers and one tackler so this may not be as frustrating as it could have been. They get one handicap: smelling salts.

We kick and it lands on the half way line and they spend the first couple of turns dodging away from the ogres with style and grace while passing the ball back and forth, eventually scoring on T3 with no trouble at all.

This enrages the fans so much that a rock comes sailing in to BH their blodge/tackle lineelf- nice one fans!! A touchback also lets us hand the ball to one of our MA6 ogres and we KO two elves. T4 however sees a rash of boneheads and they take advantage to 1d blitz the ballcarrier, stealing the ball. We use up our last RR to POW their blitzer with the ball, while they then BH our +AGI gobbo, and then grab the ball and lob it downfield to score again on T7.

We have two turns to try for a TTM attempt, but fumble the pickup and the half ends with their DP getting BH'd.

2-0 down 10 vs 8 and we're receiving, but with another touchback we manage to score with an ogre on T4. 2-1 but they still have 8 players, though we manage to KO two quite quickly. They have the ball at the back and we have chased forwards with a big spread of players, trying to make it difficult for them to escape, and indeed on T7 they fail one dodge too many and we're able to knock the ball free and score on T8!
