“XFL V Ogre, Round 2 (both players had a bye in Round 1)

This was a luck beatdown from the start. T1 and a freebooter goblin the Redneck Crew hired gets sent off for a stun. The Titans made a total of 7 fouls, of which I think 4 were made with the eye, and never got sent off. Rory Sidewinder had himself a helluva game, personally accounting for the 2 RIPs we inflicted, while Ray Gunn took out one of the goblins to earn himself BT to go along with his Block'n'Tackle.

The Redneck Crew was beset with dice troubles just about all game, much of it in the Thick Skull and KO roll departments. Starting with just 11 players, they were down to 8 after the first drive, then 6, then 4, and I think they finished the game with just 2 on the pitch.

Despite the uneven numbers and the dice conspiracy, Zombie took us to OT after a fluke bounce lands in his ogre's hands, then my block to get it back goes pushes/rr/double-skull, and my ogre KOed himself out of the way, allowing a 2+2+2+ for a OT-clinching score. 2-2.

OT was a beatdown, as one might imagine 11v4. Another valiant effort got a ogre threatening the ball as the Titans received it, but a POW, a foul, and another failed TS roll cleared us a path. We gathered it up, handed it to a Chuck Z and his 49spp, and stalled out the game. We had a bit of a scare when our T23 attempt to walk the ball in with no rerolls resulted in a BH fail, but in T24 we passes BH and spiked the gamewinning TD.

GG Zombie. For all the advantages I got, you kept in the game until the end, and were a BH fail away from forcing the coin flip.”
