“We receive first and our first block of the game sees their dodge saurus -AV injured by our MB storm vermin, and the best the apo can do is turn it into -MA. They already had 2 journeymen so this is a great start for us! We also KO another saurus with a DP gobbo for a sending off.

They then KO our MB SV and on our turn our troll get's KO'd with a both-down vs their kroxi; T2 and they BH a linerat. Suddenly we are two players down and struggling to hold onto the ball! They swarm over us and knock it clear on T3 and on T4 we're a 1d blitz away from recovering it but can't do it. Their kroxi burns a reroll to blitz our remaining SV and MNGs him leaving us just 6 players on the pitch and they steal the ball. T6 and we get a 2d blitz with a blocker vs their skink, but 4 dice can't find a way of knocking him over and he's away. They score on T8 after a single turn of stalling.

We have 10 to kick off with our troll unfortunately remaining KO'd and when they blitz with their kroxi for a both-down we can take advantage and run a player after the ball. Unfortunately their skink makes the pickup and passes downfield to another skink hides inside a cage of saurus at the centre line. Meanwhile they KILL a rookie gobbo. They continue to keep their skink caged up, while thinning out our numbers til we have mostly gobbos left. T6 and they make a run at last into our half while our entire team is prone where they stall it down to T8 before scoring.

We get one final turn to score a consolation BH on a loner skink. Apart from that first block this was a disaster of a game!!
