“1st block of the game, goblin broke Jim Boar-Ton's neck. 2nd block was a chainsaw that KO'd Gorge Blanda, 3rd Block was a Troll that KO'd Bruce Man-Chewer. I knew I wouldn't finish with 11 players, but sheesh. Then Warren fouled Zossima, their Blocking Goblin, and scored a CAS that the Karamzov apothecary reduced to a BH. That made Ivan the Troll mad, so he threw a both down block against Warren, and killed him. The Titans apothecary could only reduce it to a Smashed Knee, so Warren is going to be a little gimpy the rest of his career. After this sillyness, things settled down and we managed to start knocking goblins off the pitch. Eventually, Ken got the ball and was able to score. The trolls prevented their own TTM TD when they tried to eat a goblin. 2nd half we got an onside kick and handed it to Ken Chew-Stone again. We made our way up the pitch, shifting sides about midway when the trolls both bunched up on our right. It was a little hairy, because the goblins were dodging all over the place and their pogo stick made an a leaping blitz appearance but could only roll pushes. Hurl and Elvin came over to assist, and Hurl sent Maximov off with a Serious Concussion. Some more pushing and blocking and Ken was able to get within sight of the endzone, finally scoring on T6. On the next kickoff, the troll TTM TD was foiled by an untimely Really Stupid fail, followed by a Loner failed reroll. I covered one receiver and blitzed the other. Next turn the Karamazov goblins blitzed my BoB away from their potential receiver and handed the ball to him. He failed a dodge and the ball went into the middle of the endzone. Then I failed my own Really Stupid Coach roll and forgot that I did NOT have the last action. I forgot to stand all my players up or to cover the ball well and instead threw a good block followed by a poor pass/catch attempt (to be fair to Eddie, the pass was fine, it was the catch) and suddenly the Goblins had a chance to score. This is the 3rd time recently that I've made a mistake like that. This cold has really been messing with my head, perhaps I should lay off Blood Bowl for a while. Anyway, the goblins scored, though it didn't cost me the game so no real harm done. Other than to the Titan's pride at not getting the shutout.
