Bowlbot was broken during this time period so I don't remember what the Bbox rating was, but my last match was 1050 vs. 1000 and was @989. This is also the 3rd straight Dark Elf team my High Elves have drawn in the box. I never realized Blackbox was into genocide ;)

526 Flashback13 153.74 152.14 - (previously 469 Flashback13 154.43 151.11)
Team's first loss saw 2 of 3 stats decrease, the exception being BBR (edited due to oversight on original post)

The Gholas of Dune were called upon yet again to do battle with their nemesis, this time championed by Slap n Tickle - Miami (coached by Joemanji). This was one of the games that were going on when the server died, so my recollection of events is not as good as I would like when writing a match report. I remember kicking off but not being able to prevent the score. We scored an early RIP against one of the Tickle Blitzers but their apothecary patched him up. I also remember having enough time to score in the 1st half but botched it up with a failed pass that left the ball vulnerable. I spent too much time trying to get it back and think I lost it again. 2nd half we received the kick and I felt good about being able to score fast and pressure on defense. However, I started losing players, including having an Journeyman sent off for a foul and had to score quickly. Then on the last drive, I took a calculated risk by having my Blodge Blitzer, Thufir, dodge free to blitz a hole in the cage. However, I had not moved all my other pieces yet because I wanted to optimize who and where I marked on the field. I don't consider this to be a mistake, but it did cost me the game when Thufir snaked the dodge and caused a turnover. While Joemanji and I both had some bad dice at various times, I feel that mine were at more critical junctures. Part of this was probably due to Joemanji's good coaching which caused me to play on the defensive most of the game. Even when I had the ball, Joemanji was able to put more pressure on me than I was on him. I'm still getting used to High Elves, but I think Dark Elves have a slight advantage at this TV due them having more Block (and consequently more Blodge) players. I'm hoping my next game won't be against Dark Elves. Still, it was a good game, although neither of us chatted much. I think we were both concentrating on our turns as it was a very tight game right up until the end. At least I hope I was making Joemanji think, since the alternative was he was so bored he was doing something else on the side :) Either way, I would be happy to play him again. Good luck to your team, Joemanji. I'm happy for you that our result got pushed through.

No skills, but we made enough money to buy a 3rd reroll. I'm hoping that will make a difference, as all 3 games I've played now have been with 2 rerolls on each side. And as you can imagine, both elf coaches burned through all their rerolls pretty early in each half. It will be nice to know that if I get a snake eyes or a double skull on the first turn I can afford to spend a reroll and not be looking at 1 for 7 turns.
