Truly, the Brethren are favoured by the one true God, the Horned Rat.
From the first kick off, where a gust of wind caught the ball, and placed it as far away from the Line of Scrimmage as possible.

Blood Bowl celebrity Max Spleenripper was making a guest appearance for the Husk today, and announced himself by knocking out Hassz the Smell. Half the Skaven team pushed forward, while the other attempted to tie up the physically stronger Nurgle team. The Gods interfered with the Chainsaw of the Spleen Ripper, stopping the chain as he struck Fugrat. Tommie "Gun" Frazier picked up the ball, and threw it as far away as he could in an attempt to thwart the rushing Brethren Defence.

A brawl formed on the LoS, with players struggling to pick up the ball. Meanwhile the Husk were beating up on the outnumbered advance Defence of the Brethren, and a closed fist from Willie Harper sent Gorbuck to sleep.

Pulo the Infected managed to wriggle clear from mid-field fight, and sprint to a clear spot in the back field, away from all the Nemaha players. Not noticing that the object they were fighting over had moved, Dean Steinkuhler applied a sleeper hold on Skreetz, who needed to leave the field to recover. Max Spleenripper took his saw to a prone Zulbag one Ear, but once again the Rat God intervened, and turned the saw back on the Star. Pulo the Infected crossed the line, and the ref explained to Max, that players using Saws were breaking the rules, and he would appreciate it if he left the stadium.

With Gorbuck still sleeping the kick wasn't perfect, but it still gave the Rats a chance to push forward, and Skreetz and Nirkz the Grey took the opportunity to get payback for the hard hits in the first quarter by knocking out Willie Harper and Tracer Wistrom respectively.

Zach Wiegert took exception to this and pummelled Nagrat severely, ending his involvement in the game. Davey Butterfield blocked enthusiastically, but without any real skill, and managed to trip himself, leaving the ball carrier unprotected. Zulbag one Ear stripped the ball from Tommie "Gun" Frazier which fell into Irksiz the Brown's hands, and he waltzed over for a simple score.

Despite 2 Babes attending to the Manic's injured neither Tracer Wistrom nor Willie Harper could be roused for the final drive of the half. As the ball was kicked religious Zealots and rabid Manic fans invaded the pitch. While they were fighting each other, and the players, Hassz the Smell took advantage of the distraction and kicked Rob Roy Reynolds hard in the knee. It looked broken, but seemed to heal instantly. With so much going on, it was impossible for either side to find their rhythm, and the half ended without further incident.

Nemaha Manic Husks kicked off, and the Brethren pushed forward towards their deep defence. Irsz the Horned One blitzed Irksiz the Brown clear and Garuk Red Eyes tossed the ball to the gutter runner to score in the corner.

From the Kick off the Brethren got the jump on the enemy, and were in place to attack before the ball had landed. Hassz the Smell knocked out a still groggy Tracer Wistrom and Lurz the Hook pounced on the loose ball to run in another touchdown.

Gorbuck's Kick was too deep, and the ball was given to Dean Steinkuhler on a touch back. He marched forward through a hole opened by Zach Wiegert, while Willie Harper applied the go-to-sleep on Garuk Red Eyes. Zulbag one Ear dodged in to strip the ball from Dean, And Pulo the Infected was able to scoop up the ball. His throw to Irksiz the Brown was untrue however, and Tommie "Gun" Frazier promptly picked up the ball and passed it to Georgie Sauer. While everyone was looking at the ball, Willie Harper sucker punched Azock, who crawled of the field to receive treatment.

Pulo, Lurz and Zulbag combined to strip the ball from Georgie, but he managed to trip Zulbag as he tried to get away with the ball. He then struck Pulo, but the gutter managed to knock the ball to the home fans as he was stumbling backwards, and they managed to throw the ball just out of recovery range.

The Gutter trio came forward with the ball, and linked up with Hassz the Smell to form a loose shield. On the far side of the pitch Irsz the Horned One knocked out Dick Glover. A tackle from Davey Butterfield was unable to free the ball, and Pulo ran forward with Lurz and Zulbag in support.

Rob Roy Reynolds was able to scrag Pulo from behind, and Tommie Frazier grabbed the ball with the intention of passing it off to Willie Harper. Willies hands are made for fighting, not catching though and the ball was dropped.

In a reverse of the previous play, Irksiz the Brown picked up the ball only to see it fall through the fingers of Zulbag one Ear. With the ball on the ground, the hooter sounded, and the match ended. More Rats then ever before attended the post match party/worship, and the council was pleased.

Twahnlows

1 point - #15 Tommie "Gun" Frazier - he passed well, and if his team mates had cought the ball, they would have scored.

2 points - #8 Georgie Sauer - a brilliant solo effort left him 1 square short of the td

3 points - #11 Willie Harper - No Cas for him, but three KO's from 6 blocks isn't a bad return.
