“I saw Calcium on the gamefinder and thought about our last game which was fun (he won). So i didn't hesitate to ask him to have a game vs my team Eisenclan. The team name is not derived from the novel by Dan abnett (Eisen means iron in german). The team needed a recovery game - a Bull centaur and a dwarf were missing.

Exited to have a promising game just ahead of me i went to my fumbbl page and did choose "play" next to my team. Due to the fact that i am playing using my laptop i had to close the client and minimize the task bar first. If i didn't i would not have been able to type in a single letter ingame. I still had the little downloads window open of my Firefox and doubleclicked on the jnlp file - the client did open. I do not know exactly why, but i was asked if i wanted to play with my orc team - i canceled and tried again - same fault (i played with the orc team right before this match - looks like i might have taken the wrong file - i don't know). I went back to my fumbbl page and clicked "play" next to the Eisenclan team. This time the right file was taken and the game did start.

Calcium accused me of trying to sneak another team in. Honestly i never ever did something like this - this game included, nor did i cheat on fumbbl in any other way. I cannot blame him for not beliving me, but the game fun was spoiled due to his accusations and strong language (which followed later during the game). Playing bloodbowl should be fun with a good amount of (nice) conversation (at least that is what i prefer, but it cannot be helped when opponents refuse to talk - it is their choice). At least the level of conversation should stay on an agreable level - which was violated by Calcium (see this link here for the full ingame conversation (it is a png): https://fumbbl.com/i/341532). Some players may think i am a sissy because i complain about the language used. I am on fumbbl for about eight years now and have played a few hunderet games. Many game conversations had been far worse in level (not from my side), but this time i really felt hurt. I guess nobody likes being falsely accused and hit verbaly - but i was. He even accused me of cherrypicking which i did not (his team was a bit stronger and i feared casualties because of the missing players).

The team pages of Calciums teams look amazing - he really took time and effort into designing. People would think he is an ambitioned game-loving fellow - even his picture looks very friendly. I do not know why he didn't even take into account i could say the truth. Maybe this was one of those missunderstandings that even happen between nice people, well i don't know...

I wish Calcium the ability to change the point of view and not to suspect all evil from the other side. We know from history where that has led to already.”
