“Darn it, the last few days I've been thinking faster, but unable to play faster because of computer problems and FUMBBL weirdness. My monitor needs a little fixing, and it's making for long games. That's not so bad when we're not in a rush, but my opponent was seemingly annoyed by how long the match took, and I can't blame him, especially in the last quarter, as the match had started to shape up into a blowout.

Lizardmen just can't play this team. The Expats have too much Blodge for a team with no Tackle. My opponent tried to make up for it with Diving Tackle and Dirty Player, but it was grossly insufficient. The Blitzers harried and battered the Skinks to no end, and only one of the Lizards' four offensive drives turned into a point, even though he took full advantage of my one glaring positioning error. My opponent played quite well, tactically. He had smart skill selections on his Sauri, didn't take big risks until he got desperate, and forced me to roll too many dice for comfort a couple times. Good game overall, in that regard. Better than the scoreboard shows.”
