“David's Mighty Men (mighty in potential only) were quietly quaking in their soft leather boots before this encounter. Dodai and coach Artaxerxes tried to keep a positive outlook, but the bully team of this competition sure was a large task for these rookies to take on. Dodai, unbeknown to Artaxerxes, organised for his cousin's half brother's uncle to attend. The result was a fiery bomb that knocked over witch-elf Arelyan Ballcatcher, knocking the ball free. While that delayed the tounchdown, it was only a delay and the Naggaroth Nighthunters cruised to a 1-0 lead. The Mighty Men though did not give up, and managed a quick response to level 1-1. Then there was a dogged defense to see out the 1-1 draw.
A fine performance by the mighty men..... and Prince Moranion helped a little.”
“An interesting draw. With the Nighthunter's team so much more trained and skilled, the majority of the Fans were Dark Elves come to witness a bloodbath. They were disapointed. Despite several early Badly Hurts, The Mighty Men were to make it one all at half time with the assisstance of a wizard. The second half was full of trips, fumbles, and blocks. This half was better for the Mighty Men, and with the Help of Prince Moranion they were able to keep the Nighthunters scoreless until the end. Despite the Surpieor training of the Hunters, the bloodest moment was when some Dark elf fans gouged the Eye out of one of the Mighty Throwers.”
