“The Wolfpack entered the match healthy and ready to meet the challenge of the dominate Oregon Duck squad. The wolfpack had never met the ducks and felt that surely a wolf would be able to give a duck a good run for its money.

Sadly nuffle had other plans tonight. The opening block (double skull, rr to skull and pow/skull) resulted in one of the golems going down and was a harbringer of things to come. The first 4 turns all ended in failures (on things like 2d blocks, 2+ dodges with RR).

The turning point was the failure of Barrowman to make the 4+ Long bomb to a wide open Other side (the diving catch ghoul) which would have almost assuredly led to an early wolfpack score. The resulting scatter and turnover resulted in a quick Oregon score and things just went downhill from there.

The wolfpack can not even hang any serious casualties on the ducks, as the 3 fouls resulted in 1 SI and the repeated wolf and MB blocks only resulted in a few KO's.

Not to take anything away from Kryten who played his usual masterful game -- not really sure that we could have won this match under the best of circumstances but it would have been nice to have had a shot to find out.
