“well Morg came to play due to the beating the Amazingly High Elves copped in round 5 and he was instantly effective. A pre-kick-off blitz caught the Dwarfs unaware and Aed the Burned was badly Hurt by the giant Ogre before the ball was even kicked.

From there the Dwarfs took control. A series of KOs proved the weakness of botht he elf armour and the dwarf hits but eventually the numbers started to tell and Fáelan the Fleet was able to stall for the 1-0 lead at half time.

In the second half the elfs began a lightning offence and Riccardo Collymore scored before the dwarfs could even move from their starting positions. This made it 1-1, but it also gave the dwarfs 8 full turns to grind down the pitch against the undermanned elfs and Fáelan scored his second (and finished with 41 rushing yards!) to decide the contest.

Morg deserved best on ground honours for the elfs, but for the Twahns:

3 votes: Orissiana Loren - the only full time team member to last the whole 16 turns on the park. the only elf to throw multiple blocks (nearly accounting for 1/2 the team total), and a deserved MVP.

2 votes: Ricardo Collymore - it was really just a cameo appearance from the speedster and his TD nearly cost him his life when he was hit by Cadeyrn MagFoirtchern early in the second half and only a good effort from the apothecary saved him.

1 vote: Amiko Kaijutsu - hard to decide but I think Amiko threw the pass for Ricardo to score. It was a regulation pass really but this was not a game of many highlights for the Amazingly High Elves.”
