“Players are old, team building has never really been successful and lately, even victories implied one or two new players to buy. Since Cad Mium died, the team lost the faith and Nick Hell, the team captain, is not really successful at keeping the spirits high. Basil Derey Jr., our most hated POMBer, was hurt tonight, making the sole threat of the team much less frightening.

Tonight, after 6 months of service, it is time to retire.

Tolosa Raiders have been my first ever team on FUMBBL, and a copy of one tabletop team of mine (which, by the way, never played as much matches). With a 5/6/31 record, the team has never really been competitive.

Thanks Muramasa for providing the match they needed, since the death of Cad Mium 4 or 5 games ago, retirement was an option. A fun game like this one is the perfect way out :)

Highlights of the match include the field emptied by fouling Neil Eatflesh Jr, the ogre, to death on turn 16 (instead of scoring for 2-0). He was crippled with -ST so was bound for retirement anyway :)
