“First off I have to congratulate the opposing coach for playing a good game. He had a plan in the second half and carried it out very well.

In the first half, I took the kick off and moved down the field methodically. I scored in turn 8, and when the second half started, I had a one man advantage. I rolled a blitz to start the half and brought as much pressure as I could.

Immediately after the blitz, it was clear that my opponent was playing for the draw. He did not try to push a man up field to get in scoring position until I was able to put enough pressure to force the issue. Rather, all efforts were made to fend off any potential pressure. Only when I would have certainly sacked the ball carrier in the next turn did he make some dodges to get a player free. He was able to get that player free and score in his own turn 8.
