The Brewery Boys scheduled a double header against Sholyn's teams. The first was the human squad.

The kick off went to the humans who did a good job opening up holes. After a feint to the left, the long legged catcher made a move to the right. The two blitzers saw it coming and tag-teamed him in the open field. Daft aimed his shot at the knees, and Thunderer came with a full head of steam, catching Yiluutnantti under the chin, bending him in half, and sending him spiraling through the air. the sickening crack heard through the stadium was the catcher's neck. The apo rushed in to save him, but it was no use. The little guy had made his last blood bowl move.

Undaunted by the loss, the other catcher moved to the same area while the thrower made his way down the other side of the field. The slower dwarfs were split on what they should do, so they got to bashing. By halftime, 4 humans would be Ko'ed, injured or dead.

Still, the humans hung firm. With their steroid buffed thrower stunned, the human blitzers separated Thunderer from the ball he managed to acquire. Moments later, the catcher Kersantti scooped it and scored what would be the only point for the humans.

Going into the second half, the dwarfs had the man advantage, but would have to act quickly. They surrounded the men on the line of scrimmage, and the blitzers worked the Northern half of the field. Once the humans took the bait and went north, the runner Captn Morgrim headed South.

In the scrum on the line of scrimmage, Garagrim threw a gauntleted punch into the face of the blitzer Luutnantti Lasse. Blood gushed from both nostrils, his eyes crossed, and he dropped to the ground motionless. He too was dead. Garagrim starred at his gauntlet as if wondering how that had happened.

Again, the human thrower tried some heroics by dodging then blitzing the Captn carrying the ball. The ball came free, but the dwarfs were able to swarm the thrower and push him away from the ball. Captn Morgrim shook his head to clear the cobwebs, picked up the ball and threw it to Daft. Without further delay, he rushed to the endzone.

With the second half nearly half over, Kondor began tho think this one would be a draw. He dialed up the blitz and sent everyone rushing in. Then he saw the error. Oakenshield had booted it out of bounds. In the commotion, the ball was handed to the ogre in the middle of the field. This should have been disastrous, but the human blitzer trying to open a hole got caught by a dwarven hay-maker dropping him and allowing the dwarfs to get a helmet on the ball carrier.

Frustrated with his pathetic kick, Oakenshield took his anger out on the rookie lineman that had the bad luck of standing next to him. The savage block in the chest bone and punctured lungs. Alokas was the third human to fall dead.

For their part, the rest of the team got the ball free from the ogre, and the Captn was able to scoop it up. This time he followed his blitzers as lead blockers in for the game winning score.

Thanks for the match Sholyn, the armor rolls have been awful for you today. Things will probably be reversed next time we play.
