“XFL VII Norse, Round 3 -

Fight Gone Bad won the coin toss and chose to receive. The fans were in a raucous mood and threw a rock knocking out a Turisas player. FGB knocked out two players from the line of scrimmage putting them at a numbers advantage. Turisas was undeterred and stuck to their game plan sending a couple players into the FGB backfield. Warlord Nygard made a daring play and flanked Surrel, the FGB ballcarrier. The Warlord made it past the offensive line and rammed into the Thrower sending him crashing into the dirt in an awkward angle. Medics came onto the field and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Moments went by as the Wishmaster hoped the Warlord didn't try to go for the ball and the touchdown. He didn't and the FGB bench released a sigh of relief. Reinforcements arrived to form a blockade while Anton secured the ball. Time was slipping away into the seventh turn and the hero of XFL VII Round 1 was still deep in his own backfield. Bert was freed up and ran up the left side of the field wide open. Anton saw him and launched a short pass that found its mark. Bert caught the ball and hurried into the end zone to score just in time.

Turisas received in the second half but problems arose where Helmut Wulf was thrown out of the game. The Referee was unusually uncorruptable for a Blood Bowl official, as he didn't even let Coach Araznaroth offer him a bribe. Despite those problems, the field was even in numbers. FGB attacked the Turisas offensive line early and forced them to go to the left side of the field. Relentless attacks put too much pressure on the Turisas lines and they went for a relatively quick score a quarter of the way into the second.

FGB received with plenty of time left to work but Turisas hit them with a Perfect Defense. FGB fought through it and beat the defense sending many of their players to the ground and a couple off the field. Seph also went to work when he dropped the "Norseman's Elbow" to the cheering of the fans. Turisas put up a valiant effort but they were quickly overwhelmed. Thomas would walk in the game winner while Grant the Great celebrated his Legendary status and more importantly, the team's advancement into the Semi-Finals!
