“Grotty Little Tournament VIII - Round 5 (Round 2 of Main Draw):

The dark elves came in very confident and received the ball - bulling their way straight down the middle of the pitch. We responded by badly hurting a witch elf and getting Jason to snuggle up with the ballcarrier. Diving tackle from Jason took down the ballcarrier when he tried to flee the next turn, but another elf caught the ball. We promptly quad skulled our block on the ballcarrier and it looked grim. However, the elves were failing rolls too (gfis, dodges) - and a turnover allowed us to surf multiple players including the ballcarrier. At this point we were able to collect the ball and drive the length of the field for the 1-0 lead.

Second half we received and with no blitz or miracle dice, we were able to slowly smash through the elf defense as we handed off to Anika at the end for the 2-0 win.
