“Starting out the humies had the damage advantage (and mobility) while the orcs had a huge strength advantage with four guards backing up four str4 players.
The first drive saw the orcs with the ball, pressing slowly up field. However, the sight of a blodging human blitzer near the sidelines threw the orc ranks into disarray as they rushed to surf him. This left the ball carrier exposed and taken down by a lineman tag-team, scattering the ball out of play. However the fans, enjoying the orcs attempts at pushing the huamns into their midst, decided to throw the ball straight back to the orcs and a disasterous misclick saw the orcs have the opportunity to get a risky t8 TD which they duly made. Elsewhere on the pitch Alex Louis Armstrong demonstrated why big guys are as much a liability as an advantage, killing himself blocking an orc lineman. Luckily the Dogs' apothecary was quickly at the scene and managed to revive the inept creature.
The second half saw the Ogre still clearly suffering from his injury, wasting turn after turn while the remainder of the humans made a mad dash up the wing. However the sidelines provided the rock to the orcs hard place, stalling the drive and when a cross-field breakout failed it was good game. Too few humans remained to challenge the orcs for the ball as they ran it up-pitch.”
