With the big bad wolf badly hurt, it was down to the other wolf to rise to the occasion. A one turn score showed promise, with Toombs choosing survival over prudence with the dodge skill enabling 1-1. Then sweltering heat decimated our numbers. 6 on 6 lined up for the 2nd half, soon it was 5 v 5 - 5 skilled chaos players vs 3 zombies, Landlord (wight), and a golem, and nowhere for the Landlord to go. Toombs made his 2nd mistake of the game, passing up the blitz with the agile beastman, choosing instead to mark the ball. Landlord showed skill we didn't know he had to score the team's 2nd.
Heat was less of a factor in the final drive, and now for the 1st time in the game Pig Sty Alley had the numerical advantage and made it pay to turnover the chaos offense for a decisive 3rd.”
