Then the necros fought back. Injuries to 2 key players - Monk and Fable - with an equalizer before half time turned the tide. Now the Devils looked up against it and soon they were down to just 3 players in the 2nd half and forced to give up the fight.
However, Jim and Brad were still available and the fans rioted. Brad got downfield, Jim scooped up the deep kick. Wolves and wights homed in on Brad, but that lad has nerves of steel. He caught Jim's long bomb, then powered his way through a wight for a spectacular equalizer.
In retrospect, Rafe probably should have fouled Assured Jim as the super star thrower lay prone for most of the 2nd half.”
