“Third and last game of the FUMBBL Cup XII

What a game.. Not much went right in this one. On the paper it looked like a walk in the park. But it soon turned out to be a nightmare.

It started bad as we left a little hole for them to blitz our ball carrier. Before we knew it the count was there rushing towards the TD line. Couldn't bring him down with a solid 2d block. Fair enough. He scores and our turn to try again and better this time.

He gets blitz on kickoff, no worries we thought. We had a solid line up and ag4 blodge at the back to take care of the ball. Then it all went terribly wrong when a missclick (picked skull instead of a pow..!) left it all open. 2-0 things were looking really bad. But still there was time to score an equalizer and hope for a break in the second half.

A couple of skulls put an end to that really quickly ending the first half 2-0.

Second half we were defending and this turned out to be quite hard too. Some more skulls and failed gfi gave him an easy pass to the center of the field. St6 mummy was going to stop that but a double one on the BT dodge again left it wide open for a third TD and game over.

Bringing one back to 3-1 was no comfort. This was one of those horrible experiences that will haunt us for ever. ”
