“I definitely got out played. I made a couple crucial mistakes first half that nearly cost me a Defensive TD.
First half, after losing the ball, I set up a ton diving tackle on the ball. He was able to walk in and pick it up the ball in tackle zone and dodge out. There were many 6s rolled when he ran the ball away. I managed to pull up my socks and lay a good defensive play on him where i got the ball. I then used my hammer of Thor to Thwart that Lightning bolt away. Anyways, he deserved a TD thee.
I think I pulled it together and played very well, the second half. I again set him up to make several single die hits and diving tackle dodges, in hopes of him failing. I guess you could say I lucked out in that regards, because he wasted some RRs early on in his turns. I then was able to get the ball and nonchalantly walk it in over the next 5 turns. Nothing worked for him after turn 3 of the second half. He needed 4+ and didnt get them.
I know sometimes when a strategy breaks down it easy can be frustrating. Duke didnt make a single mistake, apart from rolling badly at some crucial times. Its a bit demeaning to say that the game was entirely at the fault of Nuffle. I think I beat him fair and square.”

Disaster of a game.
If I could point to some mistakes I made it might have been easier to take the loss, but I really don't feel I did anything wrong.
Frogs drive first half, and get themselves in a bit of a muddle, so I manage to snatch the ball. Run towards the end zone 1, reroll, 1. Frogs collect the ball, but no worries, I have a wizard ... lightning, 1.
Still manage to get myself in position for a 2D to get clear, 2+ pickup for the TD ... 1. First half ends 0-0.
Second half I hang back until most of the frogs swarm to my half, so I run up, hand off and a 2+ punt puts the ball safe for me to collect next turn ... 1. After that every attempt at getting the ball was frustrated by Nuffle, as the frogs ran the ball in for 0-1 and the victory.
Sometimes I wonder if Nuffle ever really wants me to play High Elves, but based on this performance I suspect I will finish the E.L.F. season with them, then return to my Wood Elves and Nurgle.”
