The Death Knells were out for troll blood... and it was the Thralls that wanted it! If they could have only resisted, they wouldn't have let the crazy goblin-with-a-chainsaw and his friend with the ball-and-chain hack and smash into the already grounded vampires.

Fun game, I'm a little ashamed of my attention deficit that would have changed the outcome of this match, but still overall fun.

The entire game played in a blizzard, a tough-fought match until the final score on the final turn.

First half saw the Gremlins receive, and right away their blocking and casualty dice went hot, KO'ing the first 2 of what would be many Thralls in the Casualty box over the game. The 2 Vampires used Hypnotic Gaze to get a Blitz on the ballcarrier, but could only Push as their block dice never got jumpstarted, and end of Tun 3 one Vamp actually KO'd himself on a failed dodge as the Gremlins started to run clear. By the end of Turn 4 two more Thralls were out, and the Gremlins had the field position to stall, and kept it until the Turn 8 score. The Turn 8 kickoff was inconsequential, 1-0 Gremlins at the half.

Second half, 2 Vamps and 6 Thralls lined up to receive, facing 2 Trolls and 8 Goblins, all on both teams rookies. The goblins managed to pop the ball but the risky recovery failed, and the vamps did what Ag 4 does best, scooped and dodged away toward the Turn 5 score. But the Gremlins' dice had still been busy on the Thralls, and rather than make a desperate try to stop the score they surfed one Vamp for a KO, leaving only the one Vamp with the ball and one Thrall left on the field, and they nowhere near each other. However, for their part the Death Knell gangfoul team had - finally, after many attempts - KO'd a Troll.

End of Turn 5 the Gremlins received, and altho' half of the 6 Death Knell KO's woke up, the surfed Vamp did not, but nor did the Gremlin's Troll, putting only 1 Vampire and 4 Thralls on the field for the final defense against 1 Troll and 8 Goblins. But the ongoing blizzard had not cooled the Gremlin dice, and another Thrall fell on Turns 6 and 7, and the remaining 3 were hard pressed to slow or outmaneuver the swarm of stunties.

Game came down to a Turn 8 Death Knell 4+ Dodge to blitz the ballcarrier that failed despite a RR, and then a do-or-tie no-RR 3+ Goblin handoff for the winning score.
