#9 Pintxo – Groin Strain (MNG)
It took only moments for the PWT Wood Elves to score a TD after a handoff was quickly taken following kick off and then a catcher evaded a Saurus and received the ball in the endzone.
On receiving Velocidad picked up and tried to get the ball to a Saurus but the beast dropped it. The Wardancer came leaping in but couldn't quite grab the ball from our midst. KOs of the Wardancer and a lino by Diablo the Krox got things going our way and Velocidad had the ball again. We quickly went to their endzone but repeatedly failed to get the ball to a Saurus. Meanwhile the treeman fought Superiore and a rather dumb Diablo. Velocidad then scored just before half time. A blot for us was Pintxo being injured in a poorly timed dodge. But with kos and the Elves own hurt dodge fail player we were playing 10 v 8 2nd half.
It started with the Elves reorganising and Diablo going dumb again when he should have been blitzing. Then our apo had to save Loco from death from a line Elf hit! But after that the Treeman rooted and it was a solid drive that was spent mainly in the Elves corner of the pitch. Arannir and others repeatedly tried to get through or over gaps to our carrier but couldn't make it past the bodies (prehensile tail also helping) and finally we got the ball to Rio Grande to make his first touchdown just before full time.

#8 Montha – Pinched Nerve (MNG)
A very good write up!

It was a game that was up and down for Playing With Fire as some excellent caging by the Lizards made it nigh impossible to break through. Excellent time management by them also saw the majority of possession in their hands (claws?) throughout the game.

Still, Dirdin (our catcher) skilled up and took +AG as his roll. A AG5 catcher anyone? Lovely...
