“This was a tough match up for the Undead and to be truthful it was the shortcomings of his team rather than the strengths of mine that gave it to me. Following tradition however the MVP went to a player who skilled that match. Did put armour on the mino (anybody who is going to spend that long on the ground needs all the help they can get) and giving MB to a dwarf. I could indeed have surfed the star but I have learnt to go for the ball whenever possible. Just a shame I killed the best player on the team.”

“Ah, the pain.
The Block-spam of KAD completely outclassed the Faelers, and MA 4 was no balancing factor here, and Coach Heff was so ungracious as to make no real mistakes that the Faelers could take advantage of. First half they made 2 defensive scores by kicking deep and then charging in with MA "9" Bulls, after a conspicuous display of skulls and 1's by the Faelers the first time, and despite a deep cage the 2nd. At least they made the 2nd score a contest.
But Sweltering Heat took out a Bull and a Guard for KAD, and the Faeler's defense was better matched against the rest, actually popping the ball loose Turn 3 and recovering Turn 5. BUT... they then mis-read an extreme-MA blitz on the ball by the Mino for a surf attempt (only enough MA for the 1st block, with 2 GFI's*), and thought that taking a dive would prevent the surf when Dodge would have left him on the sidelines - and their key Sure Hands Dodge ballhandler was killed for it.
(* The Mino had just enough MA to surf the Faeler's star, and that's what Coach Smeat expected and how he originally counted, but detouring to the ballcarrier consumed 1 extra MA. Mental errours ftl.)
But with 55 & 57 blocks thrown, it's surprising that's the only permanent injury. A well-played game by coach Heff, taking advantage of both his strengths and his opponent's weaknesses to make the best of the shifts in luck, maximizing his opportunities and minimizing his own bad - look forward to the next one!
