“Crazy match this one. The first half started with a pitch invasion, 5 elves down and 3 orcs, luckily for me all the LoS players were stunned which meant I didn't have to suffer a beating from the Troll.

Then the game panned out as expected for a couple of turns, the orcs using their superior St to try and punch a hole in the Pro Elf defence. But the Defence was going pretty well. Until consecutive turns the pro elves snaked important dodges leaving a big hole for the orcs to pour through. Then the elves numbers started dropping which is to be expected. In their 2nd last turn the elves had no other options left but to try the desperation move. First making a 3+ 3+ 2+ to set up a tackle zone on the Black Orc blocker. Then next making a 4+ 4+ 3+ 1 dice block which resulted in a skull, rr then pow. The Black orc went down and was Ko'd. The ball then scattered on to the Kickers head who caught it and made it extremely difficult for the orcs to get the ball back. They knocked the ball carrier down with their blitz and the ball scattered on to the catcher who caught it. With their chances gone the orcs fouled the ag5 catcher who was lying prone and he survived, the ref spotted the foul and sent the line orc off.

Next half all but one of the elves came back from KO which meant it was 10 aside. The elves waited with the ball back field for an opening. Again dodging wasnt going well with elves stunning them selves every chance they got. But an opening became available. With a 2+ hand off to a catch player made, all that was needed was a 2+ dodge with re-roll to secure the win. The catcher snaked it again and crippled himself in the process. The ball was free but the elves had built a reasonable wall to make picking the ball up very tricky, the orcs didn't try and instead put as many bodies around it as they could. The elves then pushed a blitzer out the way with a 1 dice block and their ag5 catcher dodged picked the ball up and bounded away. The orcs had one last chance to get the ball carrier down with their tackle blitzer, they needed a 3+ dodge with no rr and made it then blitzed the catcher but failed to knock him down, after that the elves ran down the clock and snatched the victory in the last turn.

A crazy game really, nothing worked for the elves that should have, but the risky rolls all seemed to. In truth a draw would have been a fair result here. But the elves just had that one great turn in the first half to separate the two teams.
